Caring for a Cheagle

Feeding: Twice a day, snacks in between and treats for good deeds.

Living with a Cheagle

Personality: The Cheagle is very friendly and loves to play.

Temperament: The Cheagle is a very nice little dog who can be a little aggressive when playing but usually calms down quickly.

Family Dog: The Cheagle makes a good family dogy. They typically get along well with other dogs and children.

Shedding: The Cheagle is a average to low shedding dog.

Grooming: The coat of the Cheagle is very easy to maintain. It should be brushed occassionally.

Appearance: The Cheagle resembles a Chihuahua with a long Beagle-like tail and ears.

Size: The Cheagle is around 12 pounds when fully grown.

Head: The Cheagle has the Beagle head with the Chihuahua snout.

Eyes: The eyes of the Cheagle mostly resemble those of the Beagle being deep brown and round in shape and are not wet looking like a Chihuahua's.

Ears: The Cheagle can have long ears like the Beagle. The ears of the Cheagle typically lay down until they get attention then they stand right up.

Teeth/Bite: The Cheagle usually has an overbite.

Body: The body of the Cheagle resembles a mixture of both parent breeds. They are typically bigger than a Chihuahua and smaller than the Beagle with a more rugged and rough Beagle-like appearance, Chihuahua legs and a Beagle tail and ears.

Hindquarters: Stands squated with her chest out.

Tail: The tail of the Cheagle curls up like Chihuahua's over the back. When they become alerted to something the tail will stand erect.

Color: The coat of a Cheagle can be almost any color including a light cream color or white with black spots. They can have the Beagle facial markings as well.

Coat: The Cheagle has a short, shiny coat.

Characteristics: The Cheagle may tend to snore when they are sleeping due to their small muzzle size. The love to go tracking in the brush and follow all the scents.
