Had a good first weekend. She seems to be adjusting well. Took her outside for a little while yesterday while it was nice and she seemed to really enjoy frolicking in the yard and then to just lay on the grass and bask in the sun. My daughters think she's the greatest thing. My husband said that even tho she was bought as a "family pet" that she is most definitely my dog.

I'm getting ready to leave for a 3 week training trip down to the States. Poor Mulder is already going a bit crazy. He is glued to my side and very confused.

I knew this was going to be an issue as I had to be gone for a swim meet not long ago and it was not fun for him. He has some attachment and anxiety issues and it does help that he has Anya to keep him company during the day. My fiancee is home at night and every other week we have his son.

Mulder just doesn't like being away from me at all. I feel bad for the little guy, but I have to go on this trip. There is no way I can take him with me either. I have the worst guilt ever right now.

Poor little guy.
