Diamond is my female Yorkie. I have had her since 2007. She is a grand baby from my Prince and Jazmine. They have passed on now so she is a constant reminder to me of them. Diego is our long legged little Chihuahua orphan boy who was literally left on our front door, not even weened. He's about a year old now. He is a brown short haired "Reindeer" Chihuahua, and a purebred. Well, today was their first mating experience. Diamond is a normal size Yorkie, about 5.5 lbs. and solid. Diego has legs that could go on forever and is as skinny as a rail, except for his head and weighs about 4-4.5 lbs. but taller than Diamond. My concern is the puppies may get too large inside her and possibly kill her during delivery. i think they will have beautiful babies together. I just want all to be safe. Any words of wisdom will be greatly appreciated. * NOTE: We do not endorse breeding and health risks including death are quite possible especially when dealing with smaller females. *
