Do you have a vet that you use? With any tiny dog, it can be very hard for them to have puppies, especially if the father was a larger dog. You should take her to your vet and have him check the size and number of pups. He will be able to tell you right away if she can deliver on her own or if she will need help. Small dogs can often die if trying to deliver pups that are too big to birth easily. I have had chihuahuas for many years so I know the problems you can have with smaller breeds. Best of luck with your new "mommy" dog. [:)] preg. chiweenie | Health Concerns
I like the name Pomahuahua better than Chiranian. My little girl is named Sukie and she was a rescue from the MSPCA in Massachussetts. I come from CT and drove five hours round trip to adopt her after I saw her on Petfinder. She was a stray and her teeth were so bad they all had to be pulled. So now I have a 4.5 lb little ole' Pomahuahua that I hand feed soft food to. And she is the love of my life! Goes with me everywhere, sits tucked in the crook of my arm and I can't go anywhere in public without being asked constantly what breed she is and how gorgeous she is. Especially with her fluffy summer puppy cut.
