Pidge the Sharpull Terrier
I can't submit this without adding that I haven't had Pidge for long. My friends at work found her on the side of the road and I adopted her when she didn't work out in their home. She came to me very sick and underweight. We believe that she was owned by someone who abused her from all of her various scars and marks. She is a great dog and is fitting in well here but it has taken her a long time to open up and settle in. You can see in her eyes sometimes that it's been a long road for her. Her brother...Bronco... the Daniff also listed here on this site loves her very much, but he is the only dog she will tolerate. I think that she knew that she was home and decided to love him even though it goes against her instincts. She is a good dog, but both Shar-Pei's and Pitt Bull Terriers need an owner that is experienced and willing to take their training very seriously, especially if they have been abused.

Bronco the Daniff
Bronco is a Gorgeous beautiful dog with a soft shiny Red Fawn and white coat, big and floppy ears and huge feet. He is still a bit of a clumsy puppy. I have to watch him closly so he doesn't hurt himself. He gets into everything. He broke a toe when he was around 4 months old. His tail is long and strong with a huge head. He's a fathead. His coat is very easy to clean, I just stand him in the shower! I brush him every couple of days. I haven't had a problem with shedding at all.
He is smart, funny, always curious, protective, laid back, loving, sweet.... I could go on forever. He's the biggest lap dog ever. Loves to be with me no matter what. He is smart... but stubborn at times. He really likes to play dumb dog when he's in the mood. He barks a little sometimes. It's not his fault though, my house was broken into when he was younger and he's still a little bugged out by weird sounds at night.
At nine months Bronco is already bigger in the chest than most Danes I've met. He is lanky, but his musculature is very pronounced. He's heavier than a Dane, yet less massive than a Mastiff. His bones seem a little denser than your average Dane. So far his hips are great. His hindquarters are much chunkier than most Danes I've met. He has great definition in his hips and legs. He eats lots.... twice as much as your average size dog. Bronco just hit 100lbs. He's 9 months old as of Feb 15th.
He doesn't have any allergies so far. His general health has been great. He did have demodex.... so no breeding for my big boy. He has big white teeth.... he's not a year old yet so I'm not sure how it'll go. His mom and dad's looked fine though.
Bronco is an apartment dog. He is great. Some chewing though. Walking every day is a must. We have been going to the dog park since he was 8 weeks old and he loves to run around out there. He has a wonderful loping gait. Sometimes he has problems stopping. I think his breaks are developing as he gets older! I think he would be wonderful with a family. He is protective, but he loves people and other animals.
