My Mable
I love my Jack Tzu!! She is a loving dog with an under bite lol!! She has a white body and a black mask, and she is just adorable. She is everything in the description of a Jack Tzu to the T!! She is the smallest of the litter, so she only weighs 7 lbs, at 7 months. My sister has her brother and he is twice her size. I just recently got her hair cut, and she looks more like a Jack Russell than she did before. You will need to get their hair cut on a regular and she sheds a lot, but she is still a loveable dog.

I got my dog Irey from a shelter on base at Fort Bragg,NC.
I could not have asked for a better dog. When it comes to training him, he is awsome. Shedding is always a problem because he dose have the undercoat. My Jack-a-Bee is great with kids and small animals. For a year I did not know what he was, untill my friend herd him baying. She said he sounded just like a beagle. So I got on the internet and found tones of pix of other Jack-a-Bee dogs. When I got on this web site and looked at the breed info, and there it was, a nail on the head. Every thing listed was spot on to my Irey. His breed is awsome. Not hyper all the time. He can jump very high when he wants. Absolutly the most loving animal Iv ever seen. The only problem I have is shedding and barking when somone knocks on the door. Other than that, I highly recomend a Jack-a-bee to somone who is in an appartment and has kids. Yoda, also known as The Dodo, was a gift from my Fiance about 5 years ago, our first valentines day living together. Now we are happily married. I don't recommend giving dogs as gifts. But in this particular case it all worked out beautifully.
The Dodo, was 4 months old adopted from a shelter. (I only do rescues when it comes to pets.) At the time we lived on a farm in MB. This dog, has saved the life of our maltese with his non biological brethren on the farm when she got grabbed by a coyote on one of our dog walks. This dog has also put himself between my body and 4 men with guns shouting sexual crap at me out in the middle of nowhere where no one would have known where to find my body. Somehow, we are both still here because he scared those men off. These dogs are highly intelligent. Kind and gentle, slap happy and the furthest thing from stupid you will ever find. M husband holds a PhD in theoretical physics. Yet, it is Yoda, that sits beside me on the couch now. He has once again conned my husband out of his spot and has taken it over himself. Hows that for intelligent? He is trained he high fives shakes sits comes lays down stays waits to eat on command goes to his bed during dinner and waits politely for us to finish and plays gently with our new chorkie puppy. He sleeps with us at night and is not bi on barking. However he makes all kinds of odd noises and is extremely communicative. A whisperer once told us we talk to him so much he is trying to verbalize back to us to communicate since he has realized that that is how we communicate. He follows us around the house, is extremely protective of me. I believe this dog would kill for me or get killed for me if necesary. I believe this, because i have watched him put his body between me and very real danger. He bit no one that day and growled at everyone. They were drunk and easily frightened off. I can honestly say this breed of dog is brave and are willing to save your life at the cost of their own if necesary. He makes Lassie look weak and pathetic. His tail wags constantly and he licks often. He is very loving. He is a 70 lb lap dog, literally. His favorite place to sit or lie is on a human lap on the sofa. These are fantastic dogs. Everyone should have one. Our beautiful big (153lbs) Mastweiler Maximus passed away on Nov 7, 2010. We are devastated!! He was the most amazing, funny, protective, kind boy in the world...We had 9 unbelievable years...way too short. I myself did not know he was considered a hybrid. his mom was a Rottie and dad was an english mastiff.....incredible mix. everyone should have a dog like him. Our lives are completely empty, we cry everyday. No dog will ever compare to our Maximus!!! we love you big boy forever and always....

We obtained our Borador, Ollie, last December when a friends border collie got loose and the next door chocolate lab introduced himself.
He weighs in at 66.4 pounds and requires exercise. He is extremely affectionate and make friends with other dogs immediately. He is not intimidated by larger dogs, but he is skittish around unexpected movement such as s tick in the water. He loves the ocean, ponds, and beaches where he can let it all out with running. I had pure bred dogs in the past, but I believe the mixed breed to be superior by its inheritance of the good traits of its mixed parentage. I would unequivocally recommend this type breed to anyone. I've had a lot of dog and this little sweetie has the biggest personality of all. Due to my own lack of judgment on buying a delicate breed when I had little children at home, for her own safety Bubbles was adopted my single sister. It's worked out quite well though. My sister adores this dog and we still get to see her often.
My kids were ages 3 and 5 when we first got Bubble. I left them unsupervised together for less than two minutes and that's all it took. Somehow one of them broke Bubble's hip. She was a pup at the time, now she's three, but I'm still unclear on what exactly happened. So be aware, this breed is on the dainty side, and although wonderful with children, children aren't always so wonderful with them. Bubbles forgave them. She still loves kids, loves to play, loves adults, loves anyone who will rub her belly. At the same time, she's an excellent watch dog, barking when needed, but not excessivly. Nor is the bark yappy, surprisingly deep for a little dog. The kids are older now and know how to treat a dog. We dog sit often and she's so much fun to have around--alert, full of energy, ever-curious, wanting to be in the middle of everything--always making us laugh. Yet, she's content to sit still and be a lap dog too, especially with my mother who is an elderly cancer patient. Bubbles seems to know when mom needs extra attention and stares down mom until getting an invite to jump on her lap. My mom never liked little dogs until Bubbles came along, but they're constant companions now that the owner of Bubbles has taken over mom's care. Mom brags about how smart Bubbles is and claims her as her own dog now, LOL. The only negatives about Bubble's is she has been difficult to housebreak. Sometimes she still as accidents. Not often, maybe once a month. I think it's the bichon in her, a breed which is notarious for being hard to housebreak. Her coat gets matted and tangled, making constant grooming a must. Something that says a lot about this special dog is that I have eight neices and nephews ranging from age 7 to 19. Counting all of their dogs, that makes 5 dogs in the family. Other than their own family dog, every single neice and nephew says Bubbles is their very favorite dog ever. She's so friendly and outgoing, the cutie is impossible not to like.
