Forrest was born a poor black puppy in Kentucky, nothing in his napsack besides 10 cents and his daddy's old harmonica. He was picked up by the local animal shelter, with no room for him or his comrads, they were trucked off to Green Bay WI. It was a long and tedious journey and he found himself with a german shepherd puppy as a cellmate. One week he sat in that dank dark place just waiting for the right family. Forrest sat in the corner of his pen, sticking his nose between the chain links, hoping to catch a wiff of his momma's world famous fried chicken and corn pone. Until one day a blonde girl walked by..kneeled down in front of him and shouted to her dad, "Look at this little black one, his nose twitches just like Samantha on 'Bewitched!'"

It was love at first site.<3
