I had lost a pet on Christmas day in '04 and after crying for a week, my husband came home saying that he wanted me to have a new pet. We went to the rescue in our area and hearing the dogs bark and jump, I guess I was not ready to adopt. I was upset as I started to walk out and told them that I would return when I could make a beter decision. As I started to walk out they opened a kennel and out jumped this barrel chested short-legged little puppy with huge ears. As they tossed a ball across the floor he ran after it and brought it back and dropped it at my feet. Well need I say more. It was love at first sight and he has had a pamered life ever since.
