buddy was given to me in 2003 by a friend who had aquired him from a stranger responding to a "lost dog" flyer that mistakenly thought buddy was her lost dog. she assured the stranger that she had already recovered her pet but would keep him until she could find him a home. i was asked if i wanted him but had just lost a dog who was hit by a vehicle the month prior. i felt sorry for him and agreed to be the temporary foster home for him. 6 years and three girlfriends later, we're still together.lol
