Designer Dog Breed Testimonials

I have a 1/2 German Shepherd and 1/2 chocolate lab named Sabrina. She is a very loving dog, but has lots of energy. One thing I can say about this mix is that she loved to chew and chew and chew and chew. We rescued her from the shelter her previous owners lived in an apartment and she definetly needs lots and lots of room to run or she will drive you crazy. She is great with our children we have two 9 year old, 7 year and a 2 year old. She is very easy with the kids and especially easy with the baby, which she has adopted and follows around constantly, personally I think it is because the baby is always dropping food. Any way I wanted to share my information about this mixed breeds.

I have a Doxie-poo named Annabelle who will be a year old in a few weeks. She is an absolute joy! She is very well behaved, does not shed, she is easy to train, and was easily house broken. She has a very good disposition and is very friendly to everyone. She does have skin allergies that flare up every now and then, but we just give her medicine for it and she gets well in a few days. She is an excellent dog! Don't know what we ever did without her!

I own a pitador and she is a terrific dog,,, she will retrieve and hunt anything u want to hunt. She has caught squirrels, chipmunks, turtles, a coon and birds of all kinds, heck I dont even need a gun...lol. A very good watchdog but I doubt she would attack... she is a red pitador that weighs about 55 to 60 lbs and best friends with my German Shepherd.

have a 9 month old 70 lb puppy named Lilly. She is great around kids and other dogs, a little pesky around cats, she is an amazing hunter already, instead of flushing a bird she sometimes actually catches it! I intentionally got the mix because the wife insisted on a female, I would have gone with a male lab, but I wanted to toughen up the female a bit so I went for this mix. She is very intelligent, and very easy to train, that is as long as she is well exercised, this dog needs to run 10 miles a day to be happy and well adjusted. Other more dominant, more mature, well trained dogs have been good at breaking her of impulse behaviors (chasing kids) Siberian Husky bulldozed her 3 or 4 times and she was cured of chasing after my 4 year old. She is 100% obedient. She always comes, she hates her crate but stays in it with the door open. so to break it down, beautiful beautiful dog, extremely high exercise requirement, excellent with my kid, great hunter, easy to clean, dries off fast, 100% obedient, most obedient dog I have ever had!

I would like to tell you about my dog, Jake. Jake is 1/2 Boston Terrier and 1/2 Chihuahua. I saw a need at my last place of employment (a special education school) for a therapy dog. I got Jake and started right away training him as a service dog. He was so small I had to buy the tiny size service vest for him, the patches barley fit on it! Jake went to the school, hospitals and every place he was requested. Jake can smell when my mom hasn't taken her meds, and alerts me. Jake is a member of dog scouts, Chico, CA. troop 187. Jake has learned about water and loves his hikes. Jake has earned the A.K.C.'s Canine Good Citizen award and had the canine IQ test on Sept. 20, 2009. He tested just under genius, as "brainiac". Jake is registered in the International Designer Canine Registry. He goes in restaurants, stores, malls and is very well mannered. He can go "off leash" in public and has been trained in the "proper greeting" with other dogs. Jake has been in a dog parade, he loves to dress up. He looks pretty cool in shades too. He loves to go anywhere, and rides a horse too!

When my male Shar-pei impregnated my mother's female Boston Terrier we were very concerned for her health. What we ended up with was completely unexpected. The female Boston delivered five healthy, beautiful pups. All males! Two were all brindle, which surprised us as the Boston is black and white and the Shar-pei is tan. Three were brindle with the typical Boston white markings. We only kept one pup, and he is a wonderful dog. His temperament is great, he is playful, protective and loving. At a year old he is twice as big as his mommy but not quite as big as his daddy. He loves to play with our other dogs, cuddle the cats, and loves to kiss and snuggle his people. He has an adorable face with the Shar-pei wrinkles and ears and a Boston mug. I love my Sharbo!
