Dave the Irish Doodle

We have a two year old Irish Doodle named Dave. He is the most adorable dog in the world and gets lots of attention. His personality is HUGE and loads of fun. I keep an updated page on Facebook with his stories & he has a following now. If you would like to get an idea of behavior or manner of the Irish Doodle look up his page on Facebook, "Dave the Irish Doodle". Lots of work but love having him.

Sweet guy

We rescued him from a local shelter on the last day before being put to sleep. He's a very playful and smart guy. He settled so well that it seemed as if he was born with us. Actually, he was born again. So we were told when adopting him...

He drinks lots of water, and is very quiet indoors. Once outside we loves to run and play fetch. He'll play with anything you give him, but won't chew or destroy whatever (furniture for instance) if it's not given to him.

He's obedient and doesn't like to be left alone. He cries when alone, won't bark, unless there is something he wants to warn us about.

He doesn't mess up with cats or smaller animals, unless for playing. Loves kids and is not agressive at all!!

Our 5 Paptzus

OK, I read the description of what they look like. True, 3 of my 5 pups fit that. But two of them look just like a Tibetian Terrier..long but blunt nose and longer legs. They're all very smart and hard to housebreak like Paps. I have dad, who's a perfect but large Pap and Mom who's a Shih Tzu(1/4 Lhasa) They're very active and LOUD! One is a barker like Dad and one sounds like a Great Dane when he barks. They're sweet dogs. We kept two and 3 are with friends. They were an accidental breeding, and we were afraid they'd look funny, but they're beautiful but you don't see the Pap at all.

Tashi

Tashi is 2 yrs old, I had Lhasa's before but never a mix. She's very stubborn but loving. She's the princess and has chosen a particular leather chair as her throne. Grooming is an issue, she mats easily. She's also amazingly smart.
It's a really good mix. We had an "accident" and she become the Mom of 5 last summer, our oversized Papillon is the daddy. Two of the pups look just like Tibetian Terriers, two are always mistaken for shih tzu's and one is like a very small Lhasa. We kept two and stay in touch with the other 3's families.

Max

I have a "Beaker" His Mom was a purebred Cocker Spaniel named Sophie & His Dad was a purebred Beagle ... We prefer to call him a Bagel...or Bocker...or Maxster ... or Pooh ... or Poohmiester ....Poodooles ... or his real name of Maximillion...his Mom only had him .. one lonely little pup.
Not the case now..he is a bit chubby. He is a cooky snot & prefers prechewed bonies from his bff Teeny, my sisters cocker spaniel. However the little princess passed away a short time ago so poor Max is sol for these. He enjoys spending time with his Aunty Grandma..she spoils him rotten. Max is a MAJOR bed hog..would prefer if I slept somewhere else. Nose of his own & in his own world outside & yes he can spell...do NOT say os..he will head for the door. He has had his portrait done...very handsome devil..he even smiled :) He is not a light weight by far...35lbs (ish) solid. Max comes with me wherever I go, major shedding.
Favorite pastimes to include: drinking out of the toilet (cold and fresh, lol), eating dog chow, chewing boneys, sleeping, snuggling, begging and of course going os to smell all the bunnies & squirrels that might be around.
He hates baths & having his nails clipped or his ears cleaned..they are just fine.
He is more beagle looking, however has wrinkles around his face & ankles, plus freckles under his pink belly. Very expressive eyes & luvs to give kisses.
Max was born on October 2, 1998 at 6:00 a.m. Mommy dropped him and went out to play with the birds. He screamed liked a girl to wake us up and pay attention to me. He still demands 100% and then some.
Thats my boy..:)

Tate

Tate is a Chorkie. He is about 12 lbs. He is full of energy and very verbal. He loves to ride in the car and he thinks he is a big dog in a little body. He has a great personality. He has a under bit and normally shows he's bottom teeth. He came from Canine Rescue in North Augusta, SC. He is not paper registered, but no amount of money can make he's Momma give him up. He was tan and black as a pup but is know tan, silver w/ black coat on back. He has semi long hair and some feathers. He is very cute.
