Baxter...Poovanese?

We just adopted a dog from the animal shelter. The previous owners said his birth date was 5-5-06...but nothing else. The man at the shelter said he thought he was a miniature poodle, but I'm not so sure. He shows many characteristics of a Havanese, too. All of his hair was trimmed SUPER short, so I'm not sure how it will look when grown out. Does anyone have any clues as to his true breed?I have pictures of him on my account...not sure if I can attach it to this blog. Thanks for all responses!
