Hello! [:)] I am a life long cat owner who has never had a dog before. I have no cats at the moment, and my husband his allergic, so we will not be able to get another. So, we are looking at getting a dog. We really like the characteristics of the Cavachon. We are city/apt dwellers so we really need a smaller, quieter dog. We would be open to a rescue dog, but to get this particular breed, we will probably have to buy one from a breeder. If you have any tips on how to find a good, reputable and responsible breeder, your tips would be welcome, as we are completely inexperienced in this venture! Thanks for your help and/or hello! I strongly suggest getting a rescue. It saves to life of a dog and will enrich your life in ways you can't imagine. I also recommend puggles too. (pug/beagle) Boston terrier mixes are good for city/apt living as well. Good luck.

Thanks so much for your reply and tip, sly! We are in need of a non/low-shed dog as my husband is allergic to some animals. We are also considering a Maltichon.
