Owning a Doxle

gonzo Contact Me Starting Member (3) Posted: 11/24/2009 12:59:56 AM	Hi, I currently adopted a doxle and was looking for someone to chat with who has experience with this breed. So far I am very impressed with his behavior and training. I only had him for 2 weeks and already he is potty trained and kennel trained and has sit, come, and fetch down. We are working on stay but being a pup that is a hard one! Are Doxle's usually this easy to train? I have been raised around daschunds and they are so stubborn and hard to housebreak that I am just astounded at my little Doxle's abilities!! Must be the beagle in him!![:D]

She is really smart, she is potty trained and if you continue to use familiar words, that is how she learned. I say the words "bed" and "down" and "treat" and "potty" and she knows what all those mean. she is a hunter, very nosy and she is very hyper. She plays really rough and her bark is meaner than her bite. :) she actually doesnt bite, lol but she would if anyone tried to harm me. she follows me everywhere and she loooooooves food. its like a bottomless pit in there. lol. but she is VERY well behaved and i couldnt ask for a better dog.
