Hi, I currently adopted a doxle and was looking for someone to chat with who has experience with this breed. So far I am very impressed with his behavior and training. I only had him for 2 weeks and already he is potty trained and kennel trained and has sit, come, and fetch down. We are working on stay but being a pup that is a hard one! Are Doxle's usually this easy to train? I have been raised around daschunds and they are so stubborn and hard to housebreak that I am just astounded at my little Doxle's abilities!! Must be the beagle in him!![:D]

I have had mine since July and her name is Rudi and she survived parvo!!! She is really smart, she is potty trained and if you continue to use familiar words, that is how she learned. I say the words "bed" and "down" and "treat" and "potty" and she knows what all those mean. she is a hunter, very nosy and she is very hyper. She plays really rough and her bark is meaner than her bite. :) she actually doesnt bite, lol but she would if anyone tried to harm me. she follows me everywhere and she loooooooves food. its like a bottomless pit in there. lol. but she is VERY well behaved and i couldnt ask for a better dog.
