Guy at the shop says he's got "purebred" pekes to give away and shows pics. Vet says, "No way. He's a mix." I bring Trevor with me everywhere and a few people have asked me if he was a Dachshund pup, so I do some internet investigation and he appears to be a pekehund. Haven't seen the guy at the shop to ask. He owns four doxies, so I wonder if one of his dogs got loose and knocked up a neighbor's peke. Anyway,cool with me; I'd rather have a mixed breed anyway, and I just love this little guy. Trevor has a big-brother dog Jeffrey who is a 2 1/2 yr old Collie/Golden mix, and a big-sister dog Zoey, a 2 1/2 yr old Rat Terrier. They just love their new baby brother, and the dogs chase and play all day! We have cats, too, but they avoid Trevor, of course, except at night when everyone piles on my bed with me. Sorry my pics are blurry but these came off my cell phone because I need to get a new charger for my digi camera.
