NicNik was listed on Shreveport/Bossier's Freecycle.com. Someone had abandoned him on Barksdale Airforce Base and a very sweet and responsible couple took him in, fed him, took him to a vet to be checked,ect. The ocuple already had two dogs and knew they could not keep him, so they put the ad online offering him free to a loving home. Our family had just moved to Shreveport from Mass. We were looking for a pet to help make the adjustment easier for the children and ourselves. We saw the ad and knew we could provide a great home for any dog (we are all dog lovers). We met up with the couple and fell in love with NicNik at first sight. The couple informed us that they didn't know what kind of dog he was, but he was in excellent health and they had vaccinated him at their own expense. My family and I did some research along with our vet and realized he is part boston terrier and part miniature pinscher. We have found him to be the perfect dog for our family. Full of energy, curious, intelligent and wonderfully personable. We stay in touch with the couple who gave him to us so they can know how much they have blessed our family with their furry gift.
