My oldest son saw my little guy while he was looking for a puppy for his wife. He saw him at the breeders and he was just a tiny little guy. He even said that on one visit, a bigger dog walked over the top of my puppy and whizzed right on his head. I guess it was quite a pathetic sight. My son knew that I had always wanted a Bulldog, and he saw this guy and had to tell me about him. I got the breeders name and number and he let me know that he was coming to town and that he could bring my puppy by to meet with me. It was love at first sight. I wondered at first if he would be more like a Bulldog since he was 1/8 Beagle and 7/8 Bulldog, but the breeder informed me that it was 8 generations since the Beagle and Bulldog mated and have strictly been Bulldogs since. I saw that my baby had some Beagle characteristics, but I was in love. He really didn't look like a Thor at first, but I knew that being a Bulldog, he would be a bigger guy someday. When he came into my heart, he was a little over 7 lbs and just a little sprout. Now at 5 months, he has grown to a whopping 35 lbs and is growing by leaps, bounds and wags. He is definately my loyal trusted companion. I love my Beable and couldn't imagine being without him now.
