Linkin's Story & Details
Well, I originally sought out to buy a Dachshund. My parents own one, my Aunt owns one, and being that I live in a town house I knew I needed a smaller dog. So I called a local pet store and asked if they had any miniature versions of the cute little "wiener dogs", they said yes so drove over there right away. Turns out they weren't so mini, so I decided to move on to the next store until the cutest little brindle coat baby caught my eye. At the time I though he was a boxer and would be quite large, so I said awwwww and walked away. Well at least I tried, the owner of the store insisted that I hold him and say hi. I told him that I really can only handle a small dog. "But he'll only be 20lbs; he's a beagle/boston terrier mix." Really!!!!!!!! It was over after one minute, he was my dog. Well..... He was mine $1000 later.
We named him LINKIN because we had just gone to a Linkin Park concert. After one week with mommy, Linkin could sit, give paw, sit pretty, lie down, and roll over. He is very smart and he learned very fast. His only problem was potty training, which took about 6 months. Linkin definitely has a beagle nose; he just puts his nose down and he is off to explore. He is very playful and loves children. When he sees kids playing outside, he cries for me to let him out. In fact, all the kids in the town house complex know and love Linkin. He is very loyal and loves his mommy and daddy. I call him my road dog because he goes on "Bye Bye Rides" everyday with mommy. Linkin is an incredibly fast dog. In fact he can out run dogs twice his size. He is very muscular for only being 25lbs. He is a very sociable guy; he has buddies and girlfriends everywhere that he visits on a regular basis.
Overall, Linkin is a beautiful dog both inside and out and I am an extremely proud owner of a Boglen Terrier (Boggle). I can't wait to get another one so Linkin won't be so lonely.
