Artika was adopted mainly because we wanted to have a companion for Bistró. Also, we fell in love with her sweet personality and big floppy ears. The first day that we got her from a lady that met us at a local Burger King, we discovered that she was really weak and looked ill and malnourished. We were really concerned so we took her to our local vet, and he said that if we had not taken her in that she would have probably not made it (due to being malnourished, having parasites, and having pale gums).

After healing, she really grew into her personality and is very independent, but loves to be spoiled (especially in the kitchen). She really enjoys spending time with her brother Bistró and looks up to him a lot. She actually caught on to tricks through watching Bistró do them for treats.
