My husband and I bought Cricket (our 1st dog togeather) in 2007 from a garage sale. Her doggy mother was a corgi and her father was a border collie. Both parents where working dogs who liked to herd cattle and sheep and play with the 4 small boys who lived at the "farm" with them.
Although she was vaccinated Cricket contracted Parvo when she was only 3 months old. We weren't sure she would make it but thanks to awesome care from the vet she made a full recovery.
Shes a super smart puppy, but has a tendency to get into things she shouldn't (as a puppy she would eat anything she could get her mouth around.) She is a little shy and timid around people and dogs she doesn't know.
She is extreamly protective of her family, expecially me. Its almost impossible to walk her on the leash because she likes to herd her group.
