Allie is a Big rescue, the local shelter told me that the state shut down and they have a special care little puppy who needs a mommy like me. I went to the shelter and fell in love!! Allie Kay is a chow chow/Irish wolf hound mix. Her mom was a chow and her dad was the irish. Allie Kay was shy, she ran into walls,did not walk well and cried a lot. So I took her and our first step was the vet, and they thought she had a little brain damage. I asked if she could live that way and they said yes, but it would be a challenge for me. I was up for it!! Took a little more time with training but she did great!! What is amazing is I am disabled and she has helped me in so many ways with protection, getting me up, or just being with me. I fell outside once and I live in Iowa and she did every thing to get me up, and she did and I thank her for that!!! I know God sent her to me for a reason to show people we both are disabled but we are fighters for life!!!
