Trumpet is an adopted dog from the Montgomery County Humane Society. His previous owners surrendered him. His tail was crooked when he arrived at MCHS, not sure if he was born that way or if it was broken at some point but it's definitely distinctive.

Trumpet got the lion's share of Bulldog in terms of his physique. He's built like a tank and will pull like an ox when on leash. He can get kind of hyper at times, and with that brawny body of his he can be a handful. But he'll usually settle down nicely once he has tired himself out and will happily lay down for a long mid-day snooze.

Trumpet isn't big on playing with toys beyond chewing on them in the hopes that they prove to be edible. He loves playing with other dogs, though, regardless of their size.
