i found shelby via an ad on preloved and fell in ove with her photo! i wasnt looking for a puppy but new we had to have her. she was the quiet one eating her biscuits while the others scrambled to get our attention; in a litter of 10 she had the most beautiful blue eyes and i knew we would be best friends.

we took her home and had no trouble in the car while she slept. from day 1 she settled in, had a good sniff around and got a shock when she tried to play with cat who is quite chilled out himself but took a swipe at her to show her who's boss!
i could not imagine my life without her now! she adores our son and never takes her eyes off him when we go out she sleeps next to our bed and snores like a dinosour.
our son has renamed her diddy (ironic i know) and spends hours of fun playing with her; we also take trips to nanny's house where we play with her bearded colli x GS and her Chihuaha x chinese crested x jack russel. they spend all day playng, shelby and saffie play fightng and Milo hanging off of saffies tail or pulling shelby's ears!
she is gentle and kind and loves other animals and children she is very obediant and never pulls on the lead i couldnt have asked for a better family pet.
we are noe expecting baby number 2 and i have no fears that she will be just as gentle with this one; dispite her size she is very good at controlling herself so as not to hurt smaller animals or children; although she is quite clumsy and has on occasion stood on or knocked someone flying by accident out of exitement.
once the baby is born and a little older we will hope to get another one to keep our doggy busy!
