Pugsley's Story & Details
Pugsley did not vocalize when we first brought him home. We actually thought maybe he couldn't bark. After having him for a few weeks, and trying our darnedest to get him to bark. At ANYTHING! We had just gotten a new vacuum, since the old one had been broken, and I started to vacuum. WOW! Pugsley let me know what he thought of that! One of the kids yelled at him for barking at such silliness, but I told them to let him go! At least we knew he could bark! We actually encouraged him. I wanted him to bark now and then. And he has that wonderful Beagle Bark...nice! He barks now and then, people ringing the bell, voices out back if he can't see the people and of course, still at the vacuum!
