Patton was two days away from being put to sleep at the Animal Control Center. He was very sick with kennel cough that turned into pneumonia and had ticks the size of lima beans. He was skin and bones and very stinky when we fell in love with him at the pound. We didn't know if he was going to survive, but were committed to helping him. He is the most devoted, lovable dog, and seems eternally grateful to us for sticking by him. He pays us back a thousand fold every day with a reserved, elegant personality that is absolutely charming. He's beautiful, and very well-behaved. We can't believe anyone would have given this guy up and put him in the pound!
