Well, my mother lives in N.C., and a has a 4 dogs, two of whom mated and produced 7 beautiful puppies. 4 Blonde/Tan and 3 Black/Brown. My Kiwee was my daughters' (ages 5 ad 2)Christmas gift. When he came, he was the shy puppy out of the litter. Anything would scare him and he would run and wail. He even was a fear biter. After some patient socilaization and a little ignoring,he is a well-adjusted good boy and at 5 months, he is nearly outside trained. He even gives the best "time to go out" signals.
