He came into my life on Mother's Day 2010. He was a gift from my daughter... at the time I didnt need another dog, I had 5 all ready but fell in love with him from the moment she handed him to me. We have never been apart since that day. Luke and I have been through alot in his first year of life. He broke his leg playing with his bubba at 3months of age. That resulted in 2 surgeries and about 10 different cast. He has a bowed out back leg do to this now but nothing slows him down he is fast as lightning and he loves to run. He went on his first dove hunt and did wonderfully on leash when retrieving birds so I cant wait for this fall to come so we can hunt again. He is allergic to peanut butter and his trachea will collapse sometimes if he gets to excited or is pulling on his collar. He has chewed 3 harnesses so we are looking at purchasing a lupine since they have a gaurantee. He goes to work with me everyday and when I'm off work he still rides with me. If i only could figure out a way to take to the stores with me lol. Luke has just turned 1year and he has truly changed my life in a way no other pet I have owned has. He is always there for me and he knows when I need a extra hug.
