We adopted Freddie from the Belleville Area Humane Society. Our first dog, Amber, is getting older and we wanted to get a younger dog to keep Amber company as well as add to our family. At first, I was worried it was not going to work out. Amber wanted nothing to do with Freddie. We didn't think it was fair to either dog if it wasn't going to work out. After a couple weeks, Amber started to warm up to Freddie girl, and now they are the best of friends. Freddie is more of a morning "person" than Amber is, but they have a lot of fun. We love Amber and Freddie so much. They have made our lives fuller.
