Tigger's Story & Details
We found him at a shelter at age 2 months. My 20 yr old son wanted to go look at dogs. Ours had just passed at age 16 and I was not ready. But as we were leaving one of the volunteers told us about a puppy in the sick room. We looked at him and that was it, we took him. As soon as his little 6lb body raised up and looked at me I knew he was leaving with us. He wasn't sick, just had parasites. We took him to the vet and got him fixed up. It was a little touch and go at first but he recovered in a few days.
He was supposed to be a pittbull. But after a few days we noticed he looked more like a greyhound except for the face. As he started getting older and running around we knew he was also part greyhound. I've had breeders look at him and watch videos of him running and leaping in yard, they all agree, he's a greybull. Honestly, it doesn't matter what he is to me, I love him. But it is nice to finally see some other dogs like him. We get stopped everywhere we go and asked what he is. Now I can just say greybull and let them wonder.
