Roxy's Story & Details
My husband and I stumbed across Roxy when she was just 8 weeks old. We had gone to a local flea market just to pass the time on a sunday late morning. After walking up the last aisle my hubby caught a glimpse of a crate pen filled with puppies. I immidiately knew that they were Lab pups, but hubby insisted on getting a closer look. As he got up to the pen one of the labs moved reavealing one teeny tiny little puppy.
He asked the owner what was she and he said a girl Pinnypoo. He then asked me if I wanted her. Me being sensible, told my hubby we should go for a quick walk to discuss about getting a puppy. After a quick walk we both settled on yes we could afford a little pup. So we walked back to the guy and as my hubby was paying for her another lady was just about to pick her up. The lady saw them exchanging money and she immediately got a little upset that we were buying her. But she relctantly handed her over to my hubby, and we were on our way!
As of Dec 2010 we have had her with us for just a little over a month. She is an absolute joy and learns commands very quickly. Now at just 12 weeks she knows sit, stay, come, go to bed, potty (she rings a bell to go outside), she goes potty on command while away from home, and while at home she goes in the same spot and returns without needing a leash. As soon as anyone sits at the kitchen table she knows to go to bed and to stay until the eating person has finished...and Im sure Im forgetting something else...
