We adopted Cozy a few months ago. She's a little over a year old. Her coat is very unusual. It's gold and cream colored and some places are very soft and some are slightly course. We've had many discussions as to her breed, but because of her coat, black toenails and almond shaped eyes that look like she's wearing eyeliner he thinks she is Havanese and maybe Dacshund. We really aren't sure. She seems to have a Havanese personality, but I had her close clipped because her hair was long,but very thin. Someone had let her get pregnant very young we think and her health and her coat suffered. She was very, very thin, but she's put on some healthy weight and her coat is getting thicker. She has freckled skin you could see under her coat, but not so much any more. Her ears lay very close to her head unless she is curious or playing then they pull up some. It's very cute. She has very tiny feet and black toenails. She has a black rubbery nose and her body is longer than she is tall. Her rear end is slightly higher than at her shoulders and her tail curls tightly over her back. She is a lot of fun and we feel very fortunate to have found her.
