My husband and I are both military and while I was still in Iraq my husband had found this breed online. His cousin saw this breed and sent him an e-mail. He was automaticaly in love with the puppies. He had found out recently that his childhood dog had died while he was in Afghanistan. She was a Cairn Terrier named Heidi. We had talked about getting a dog and we were thinking about a pug. He wanted another cairn. The only place in the country with this breed was close to our house. Needless to say he picked her up and I got to see her when I got home fro Iraq. She has been such a great dog. I almost lost her in July when we were attacked by a Pit Bull. Luckily she walked away with minor injuries and has since healed completely. She has not let this affect her relationships with other dogs. She is just such a cute happy go lucky dog.

Hi I have the same question that was posted. I also lived in NC (Jacksonville) and got my Pugarin there, but I have no clue where she came from. Do u know of a breeder.
