Millie's Story & Details
I started looking for puppies in September of '09 and Millie was one of the first ones that caught my eye. I was originally looking for a Toy Fox Terrier, and Millie was listed on Puppyfind.com under the Toy Fox Terrier listing. I loved the fact that she had her full tail and was intrigued by the fact that she is a long hair chihuahua mix. She looked unbelievably awkward in the pictures but equally adorable. I contacted the breeder for more information about her temperament (and to make sure it was a reputable breeder and not some kind of puppy mill), but at that point but the timing wasn't right for me to get her. Sure enough two months later at the end of October I was looking again, and there was Millie still looking for an owner (and her price had dropped considerably because she was almost 4 months old at the time). I figured it was fate and we had her shipped to us immediately. We took a risk not meeting her first, but she was surprisingly perfect. She isn't yappy, was very easy to train, and a total sweetheart overall. She was already paper trained by the breeder. She was quick to learn at puppy school and after only two 8-week sessions, she has learned to sit, stay, down, heel, stop, stand, drop it, leave it, and high 5!
