My husband and I had always known we would eventually get a puppy but we just never knew when we would. Last year (2009), my brother in law was KIA in Afghanistan. It was an incredibly rough time for the whole family. My husband, who was also deployed at that time, was able to come home for 2 weeks. About a week before he had to go back, we saw an ad in the local newspaper for Boglen puppies on an Amish farm. We couldn't think of a better time to get a puppy. We went to the farm and saw all 4 puppies bouncing around as happy as can be. I played with all 4 of them hoping that I could choose just 1! Luckily, Henry made it easy. He fell asleep in my arms and just looked so content. :) Now, nearly a year later, Henry is my baby. He helped us through a difficult time and his companionship is something I don't know how I ever went without. I love him to pieces! <3 :)
