When my daughter's purebred Australian Shepherd died of cancer at the young age of 6yrs old, she decided to go for the hybrid strength of a designer dog. We found a breeder, who's accidental litter of purebred Collie crossed with working purebred Aussie Shep, was for sale. It was just what we wanted. The loving, sweet and beautiful Collie, and the guarding children instincts of the Aussie. Jayne is robust and happy. A wonderful combo that should be more available. He loves playing with other dogs and children.
