Maxie's Story & Details
Hi. My name is Maxie and I am a Scottish Terrier and Yorkshire Terrier mix. My mom was Scottish Terrier and my dad was Yorshire Terrier. I was born in California in the country side along with lots of brothers and two little sisters. At first, I was brown haired, but for some reason, my coat color started to fade and I am now wheaten and or white colored. My new mom sometimes makes fun of me saying that maybe my real dad was a west highland terrier. My mom is so funny :)

One day,on Father's day, two very strang people visited us. I have never seen these people before and they weren't the people that fed us and played with us, but they were so friendly. They kept playing with my sisters, but didn't play with me. I was so sad. I kept jumping and spinning and trying to show my best tricks, but still nothing. They began to pick up my sister. I wanted them to pick me up! So I kept jumping and then the lady with the long hair said "Look at that little one" and did you know who she pointed at? She pointed right at me. I was so glad she saw my tricks.

Not before long, the lady with the long hair said to me "Say good bye to your brothers and sisters." So I gave them all kisses and also my mom and dad. I didn't know where they were taking me, but they were so nice to me that I was happy to go with them. We went for a looong drive and I was so sleepy that I fell asleep.

When I woke up, I was inside this huge building with lots of food and toys and strange looikng people walking around. I didn't know where I was at. I didn't see any of my brothers or sisters or my mom and dad. I was scared. The nice lady put me on the ground and kept saying "C'mon let's go find you some toys" I didn't know where to go, so I just sat there.

Now, I live in a house with a huge backyard and have 2 friends that live with me, Honey and Tigger. They play with me all the time, but I don't like Honey. She always jumps on me and I hate it. So I always steal her toys and bring it back to my favorite hiding spot, underneath my mom and daddy's bed, but don't tell Honey or she will find her toys.

My best friend is CJ, it stands for Cup of Java, but I dont get to see her very often becasue she lives far from us. Whenever we do get to visit her, I always play tug-o-war and chase her around.

Whenever my mom and dad go to work, I like to star at the window and wait for them to get home. Sometimes I get very sleepy so I love to take naps on my mom's pillow, but she gets mad at me, so I try not to do it very much.

So this is my story, I hope to see more dogs like me because my mom and dad says that they have never seen anything like me before.

Thank you for reading my story. Woof!
