Went to the shelter looking for a big dog, like a german sheppard or boxer. Saw this little dog in one of the kennels sitting in the corner acting like she's better than the other dogs. I squatted down and called her. She came close to the fence and sniffed my fingers. She wouldn't let me touch her she just roamed around me checking me out. She darted to the outer half of the kennel when she heard kids. Then came back and stood next to the fence. She was vigilant and alert. She let me touch her now I scratched her neck then she turned over for me to scratch the other side. Asked the staff to let her out and I walked with her. Went to an enclosed pen, and played with her. She is fast, like lighting. Wife and I decided there and then she's coming home. So much for the big dog I wanted.
