Molly's Story & Details
We found Molly in a shelter about 45 minutes from our home. We went there because we found little Border Terrier puppies online, but discovered they had already been adopted before we got to the shelter. So we decided to look around anyway since we were eventually going to get a dog. We passed Molly twice before we really looked at her; she had been a stray taken in just three days ago. She was a tangled, greasy dog. Her hair had blotches of blue, and she was not a pretty sight. But we could see that she was a very sweet dog who deserved a home. My brother felt a love so deep for her that he started crying. He told my mom "I feel connected to her, mom." so that about did it for her, and we adopted Molly the next day.
After a huge dilemma with a mobile groomer, we took her home after she was spayed and micro chipped. The first few days were rough, but she has become such a big part of our family. She's given me what I lost, which was my close relationship with my deceased dog, and I'm very grateful to her for that.
