Idris's Story & Details
I was looking for a dog when the last of my houserabbits passed on. A search of listings found a litter of labrador/border collie cross pups with a hobby breeder in Midhurst, Surrey. He was the last of a litter of five to be placed and as soon as I saw him I knew he was "The one". We picked him up when he was ten weeks old and he settled right in with us. He has somewhat unusual markings and I have been asked if he has Rottie or Alsatian in him. His mum is a curly coat black lab, his dad is a border collie, but his mum's father was a golden retriever which is where the red gene has come from and expressed in him. Either way he is a striking dog and just the most loving and affectionate little soul.
He was 4.7 kg when I took him for his first lot of shots and microchipping at 10 weeks, he is now 6 months, 22 kg (almost 50 lbs) as of last week when he was neutered.
