A new dog was the last thing we thought we would ever need. We had a 13 year old golden retriever and were perfectly content in the world, but we made a silly mistake by going into a pet store. Just there to pick up a tag for a friend, it was almost impossible not to look and see what animals the store had. The little boxes that they keep the dogs in always make me so sad because I just think that they don't really have anywhere to play and anyone to love on them minus a few interested customers. My father pointed him out, he was a funny little guy, so like most animal lovers I just had to play with him. Four months old and still kept pent up in that tiny little box we just had to have him. He became MY Oliver.
