I got Otis on Labor Day. I had been doing so much research to find the right breed for me - I knew I wanted a smaller breed so if it came down to it I could control the pup and pick him up if an emergency came up. I found Otis online but asked my family (they live in the Jewell area) if they knew the breeder. She doesn't breed tons of pups and we went to her home to pick him up. He had a sister and was sad when we left but it was a long ride home and we bonded right away. Now, car rides are soothing to him and he usually curls up on my lap when I'm driving because that's how he came to live with me.
