Chief 's Story & Details
He was born in Idaho but is now a Texas dog. Chief started out fawn but is getting lighter in color. Chief has a good disposition and plays well with the lab pup (same age) but doesn't like to share food well. Normal. I was going to call Chief a Mastinese (since he is 50% English Mastiff and 50% Great Pyrenees) but I found the going name for this breed is Maspyr. There is very little information on Maspyrs on the net so I am recording his weight weekly and his height now and then in order to provide a reference point for people to go by when considering this breed. I have the weight chart graphed out with other full blood mastiffs to compare with. Chief is right in line with the full blood English Mastiff according to size for his age.
