We had given up on ever getting any grandchildren so we started looking for a dog. After much research, we found this mix. We have never had a dog who loves everyone he meets and is so easy going. He doesn't like getting his ears cleaned, teeth brushed, a bath or a haircut, but he never fights me when it has to be done. He runs like a horse and sometimes I wonder if he couldn't keep up to one for a short distance. He learns very quickly. Someone told us the saying "If it's a poodle, it's a party" and that is certainly true of him. We now have a grandson but we have no worries about him ever harming the baby because he is such a gentle giant. Everyone who meets him loves him instantly. I take him to the assisted living home where my mother lives, and he is very gentle with all the people who want to pet him.
