Lucy's Story & Details
Lucy is a love child :-). I guess, everything happened at the right time and place. A good friend of mine owns Biscuit, the Japanese Chin. Her sister owns Skye, the West Highland White Terrier. While Biscuit enjoyed Doritos here in the USA, Skye was many thousands of miles away in Japan. Due to certain circumstances, Skye came to the US with her momma and that is when she met the shy yet devastatingly handsome Biscuit. It was love at first sight. Skye was pregnant with the litter shortly afterward.
I had already known that I would adopt one of the puppies. I really preferred to have a girl puppy and had picked out the name Lucy beforehand. On the night of June 3rd, 2009, Skye gave birth to four tiny puppies. Lucy was the third born and her brother Rigby was born last. Although, it is now clear that Lucy is the runt. She was and remains the smallest of the bunch.
I went to see her the following morning. We discovered that her white fur made a diamond pattern on her belly. It was Lucy with a diamond!
