We got Maya from a rescue in Prague, Oklahoma on July 25, 2007. I wasn't sure if I was ready for another dog since we had recently lost our beloved Labrador Retreiver but my husband thought it would make me feel better...and did it. Maya is a blessing and we feel fortunate to have her. She spends her days playing at Camp Bow Wow and her nights snuggled up to us on the couch. She is such a joy!
