The Hava-Apso

This is a great mix, much cuter than Lhasa or Havanese purebreds. I think I would definitely get one again.

Buddy our Chion

Buddy is our 11 month old Chion. He has been very difficult to train, but he has added a lot of personality to our already busy household (4 kids, Lhasa Apso, and a cat). He is 5 pounds, very smart and loves to play with anyone or anything. He is very tentative around strangers, but warms up to women and children very fast. He is fawn colored with large triangle-shaped ears and a really funky coat that I haven't seen in looking at Chions on the internet. It's medium length wiry hair growing through short hair. He kind of looks like an unkept old man. I never thought I would enjoy a small dog like this, but like I said in the beginning, his spunky, playful personality has added a lot of fun to the household and I'm glad we got him.

My Border-Aussie

My Border-Aussie is a red merle named Bristol (named after the race track, not for political reasons). He has one blue eye and one green eye.
He has the characteristics of a Border Collie in body style, and tail. Also in the ears, but he's 6 months old and his ears keep changing. One week they are erect, the following they are semi- erect.

His Aussie characteristics are his eyes, and coat. The length is more typical of a Border but the texture is DEFINATLY Aussie.

He is a great dog! I grew up with a dog that was mixed with both Border and Aussie (along with other things) and she was the greatest! As an adult I wanted to get a purebred Aussie for the family, and when we were conducting our search we came across an ad for Border-Aussie puppies. We couldn't resist. What better 2 breeds to mix together?

Bristol is a shy and will fear bite. Of course only when scared (hence the term fear biting) and is very sweet and loving. He wouldn't hurt a fly if he dind't feel he was in danger. So, going to the vet is a little tricky, but he's improving. He trains easily, and was housebroken in a week. He is also very well behaved off leash. He roams in the yard freely as well as runs and plays, and when we go to the park, he is off leash to play fetch with his ball. So, he comes on command beautifully.

He is such a great joy to our family, and my kids and myself couldn't live without him.

Chipoo

This pup has been such a sweet animal. I highly recommend this type of dog to allergy sufferers. My friend is allergic to dogs and cats. She has this pup up around her neck hugging away with no problems.

Maxwell

I gave my husband, Steve, "Maxwell" for Christmas. I did't even know there was such a thing as a schapso. My daughters friend had a schnauzer, rocky and they were baby sitting their in-laws lhasa apso and apparently "fell in love". Well some weeks later there were 8 new puppies and we were given choice of the litter. My husband picked Max, and it has been worse than haveing another child. He is sooooooo cute and smart/ Now 7 months old, he is house broken, loves his new sister Graceie (a boston terrier)and wins the heart of every one he meets. He sleeps with us, of course, on his back with his head creeked over to the side. He loves kisses and is very jealous of anyone giving hugs that don't include him. thanks for letting me brag... My Mastador

Rufus is about 16months old now, He showed up on our property when he was 7 months old weighing 70lbs now he weighs almost 200lbs. He sneezes when he lays upside down and he is a total mommy's boy. We go for walks several times aday and he is best friends with our cat Regal. He has seperation anxiety and will chew up stuff if I don't keep him away from my stuff. He minds very well and is scared of bugs that crawl but will eat a moth if it is flying. He is totally black with only a few hairs of white on his right shoulder and the mowhawk down his back. He has very expressive brown/gold eyes and he smiles when we wrestle. He only barks when I am working on the laptop for schoolwork (I am in College) and when he thinks that I have not payed attention enough to him. Roofie (that is what I call him) is totally muscle and love, he only has not liked three people so far. My Husband is a dog groomer, so we have a lot of dogs come through and he is nice to them all. He does not bark or grawl but puts his butt up to my legs and walks backwards to get me to back away from who ever it is that he does not like. One night about midnight we were outside and he heard a noise and grawled. I asked him to stop and listened there was a noise accros the street at the car dealer. We went inside and I told my husband. He and I went outside and called the police because there was a person trying to break in to the building. He told us that there was someone there. Roofie loves car rides and thinks that he is to go every time I go outside to leave no matter what time and where I am going. He is a total joy in our lives. He is not just my dog but my son, and acts most the time like a teen-ager.
