Maxie the Yorkeltie

My name is Maxie and I am a yorkie and scottish terrier mix. I am very laid back and quite. I think I got that from my mom's scottish terrier side. I love to sleep and play with my best friend CJ. My secret hiding spot is underneath my mom and dad's bed. I love to chew on pig ears and drink ice cold water.

My coat is wheaten and or white, but it was brownish, black when I was first born. I am almost 3 years old and my mom still calls me puppy. I think I will always be puppy to my mom. She is ver nice to me and they always give me lots of treats and toys to play with.

The Doberdane

My husband and I adopted a Doberdane last June from "Great Dane Rescue of the Carolinas" (which by the way is a great organization). If you are interested in a Great Dane or a Great Dane mix, go to their website...Believe it or not, they also have a lot of small dogs too....All creatures great and small...

Our Doberdane is named Trump. He was three years old when we adopted him--now almost four. His name was "Trouble" orginally but I thought that was too negative..like naming a dog "Cujo". We chose Trump because it sounded similiar.

He is a wonderful dog and at 110 lbs., not a wimp. But he is a sweetheart! I've seen lists of aggressive dog breeds on different websites that include Dobermans and Great Danes. I don't get it!!!

He has the best traits of both breeds. He is a terrific watch dog(not guard dog) and alerts us to anyone on our property. Yet, he has the "couch potato" personality of a Dane. He does pace the perimeter of the house inside..like a Dobie but is very friendly with people as long as I am OK with them.

If you want a sweet and excellent companion, then a Doberdane is the dog for You!

Beau-dawg

His name is Beau-dawg. His father was a rather large Bichon and they said mother is a "Shih Tzu". Okay, I will go along with that because Beau looks just like a Bechon in the face and has the coat and coloring of a Shih Tzu. He was born in the last part of September 2009 and I got him in November, 2009. He is one great dog and I do love him dearly. He is learning most of the necessary doggy orders pretty well for his age except he piddles on his piddle pad and THEN asks to go out. I don't quite know what that is all about.

Perfect Dog

Our Pomerat was the prefect dog. His solid cinnamon colored fur was soft not wiry like most small dogs. He was clean, bright, faithful and eager to please. Fetching was was almost an obsession.

Love the Loki pup!

She is just over 6 weeks old and the most affectionate lil pup ever. VERY smart. It only took her 1 day to learn to use the pee pads and after 3 nights she actually lets me sleep 6 hours instead of 2-3. She is not cat aggressive, and seems to be fine around everyone so far. She also looks more bull than dox, except her stubby legs, the rest of her is very muscular and strongly resembles her Mom (the bull).
