Love My Shadow!
Shadow was given to me as a gift from a friend who was a single mom with a toddler and another on the way. He was 6 months old, and is half Borador, half Australian Shepherd. I truly believe he is the best mix possible. He is extremely friendly, but suspicious of stangers outside of the house or who come in unannounced. He is awesome with children, strangers or not, and will allow them to jump on him, pull his ears, stick their fingers in his mouth, whatever, without being phased. His best friend other than my boyfriend and I is our 9 year old Orange Tabby, named Sid. They often play and harrass each other. He only barks when someone knocks on the door or comes near the door. He is very intelligent and was easy to train. Despite being unaltered, he is not a humper, nor has he ever tried to assert dominance. Admittedly, he is no alpha-male, but that's okay with me. He allows people to look him in the eyes, even vets who he meets for the first time. He loves to run whenever he has the chance, so frequent walks and trips to the dog park are a neccessity. He is a herder, and likes to herd me around the house to do his bidding. All in all, I couldn't ask for a better dog.

My pitchow is very loyal to me but he also has an ALPHA trait. He loves to take daily walks & runs which helps with his aggression, he doesn't mind talken bath getting comb or using dog deodorent but he is not the most freindless dog to anyone in my home or in my yard although he is not aggressive towards other dog unless the dog attachs him.
He loves to play with his football, wrestle with my son but most of all he's a big baby and thinks he's a lap dog that needs all of you attention. The Chow in him, makes him territorial and unpredictable, the pit in him a spoiled brat with strength I have never seen before but very aware of people with bad vibes Over all he is a wonderful dog! When she was 6 weeks old we fell in love with her. She was a loveable, little ball of fluff and always ready to play.
We had her spayed at 6 months and after the operation she refused to eat for 4/5 days! After many tests we found out that her kidneys were busy giving in. Tess was in hospital for more than a week. She pulled thru and now we have a 1 year old wanna be puppy. Doing her fave things..running at full speed, digging, playing rough and being a mishtief maker until she can't anymore. She loves friendly people esp in our complex and is always happy to give them a huge tail wag. I still have her pic in my head when she was so sick but am soo happy that she's back to terrorize us for the next 12 years! She is our miracle dog. Love U Tess!! I had a lab/chow mix given to my boyfriend by a coworker. He was pure white and I took him to the vet as soon as I got him home. The vet insisted he was a pure lab until I showed him the tongue, which had some large purple areas. At that point the vet agreed he was a lab/chow mix.
My dog, Bo, was an active normal puppy who was extremely intelligent - he kept fussing at the front door until he grew enough to reach to the door knob and put his paws around it just as he had seen us open it with our hands!! As I am sure you can see, I LOVED THIS DOG. Of course I had to be careful with him because he was VERY, VERY protective. He readily sensed the nature of each person we encourntered and reacted accordingly. I had no problem controlling him but he knew from the onset I was the boss of him. He grew to over 100 lbs and was absolutely pure white. I wish I could find another one just like him!!! There was an issue with hot spots which the vet said was due to Bo being so white. We lived in a very hot climate year round but other than the hot spots he was very healthy and loving to us. I have a 1 year old chiweenie, his name is weezy. I have had him since he was a couple weeks old. Weezy is a very playfull pup. I swear sometimes he smiles this wierd/cute smile! He loves to go for a ride!!! Everytime we would ride around and he would see another puppy he would cry. He loves other dogs, It seems like the bigger the dog the better. (which scared the crap out of me) He has the attitude of a pit. Anyway seeing how weezy would cry at other dogs i decited to get weezy a brother. I couldnt help myself all i wanted was another chiweenie!!! We got him as a baby as well, and named him marley. weezy loved marley the first day, i remember bringing marley home for the first time, weezy just cried and cried. the second day, was another story. weezy didnt like the fact that his mommy and daddy have another puppy now lol! Anyway a couple days later they are incerabable. they do everything together eat, play, sleep, etc. sometimes they hold each other while they sleep. and when one is not around the other one will cry. They are really great dogs and I recomed them to everyone.
