I have a 1 year old chiweenie, his name is weezy. I have had him since he was a couple weeks old. Weezy is a very playfull pup. I swear sometimes he smiles this wierd/cute smile! He loves to go for a ride!!! Everytime we would ride around and he would see another puppy he would cry. He loves other dogs, It seems like the bigger the dog the better. (which scared the crap out of me) He has the attitude of a pit. Anyway seeing how weezy would cry at other dogs i decited to get weezy a brother. I couldnt help myself all i wanted was another chiweenie!!! We got him as a baby as well, and named him marley. weezy loved marley the first day, i remember bringing marley home for the first time, weezy just cried and cried. the second day, was another story. weezy didnt like the fact that his mommy and daddy have another puppy now lol! Anyway a couple days later they are incerabable. they do everything together eat, play, sleep, etc. sometimes they hold each other while they sleep. and when one is not around the other one will cry. They are really great dogs and I recomed them to everyone.

I have had my chiweenie minnie for 8yrs now. She is the best dog ever! She has the fiesty spirit of a chihuaha and she thinks she is a pitbull! She has so much personality and spunk! She is very loyal and protective of members of my family especially me. With her attitude you would think she was a 100lb dog. She is very inteligent, and a bit spoiled. Minnie refuses to sleep on the floor and i even have to cut up some of her food for her to eat it. Overall this breed of dog is an amazing companion and i strongly recommend it!

I've had Mattie for 16 yrs now. We found her on the side the road when she was just 6 weeks old, she had a hurt leg, & has always walked with a slight limp, due to her not getting proper care for the injury immediately. However that's never stopped her from doing anything @ all. She's still fairly active, of course not as active as she was when she was younger. When waiting for a treat she knows is coming, she jumps up & down as high as the counter tops, I swear she has springs in her paws...LOL! We love her dearly, she is an awesome addition to our FAMILY!

I have to agree that a Chiweenie is the best dog ever. I never thought I would have an indoor-sleep in the bed dog but along came Phoebe and my heart was gone.

Got her from an old friend who got pregger accidently and she was an only child. She was about 6 weeks old at that time. She is rather spoiled but makes it all worth it with one look. She didnt have any problem with crate training or potty training but doesn't like to go out in the rain to go. If it is really coming down hard, I have to take her out under an umbrella and then she darts under the car to do her business. She will give you a quick kiss on the cheek if she needs to go.

She has a "Great Dane" sized bark and goes off like thunder if someone comes to the door. Very protective girl until she can check someone out. Has litterly chased a Dobbie and a Rottie out of our yard. I just knew she was toast but she made them run for it.

Her two housemates are a set of Siamese cats named Piper and Leo. ( I was watching "Charmed when I got them all)She loves Leo to death but is very jealous of Piper.
All in all the best dog any one could want.

I had never even heard of a chiweenie until I got my baby girl, Squeaker in November of 2008. But once I had her in my arms I knew that chiweenies were the only kind of dog for me. [:

I sit back and laugh now, because she fits the breed description to a T. She loves to cuddle, listens to me better than anyone else, and can have my Chug and Dachshunds heads spinning by the time she's finished with her energy bursts.

She is so loving, and trusting, and very protective of me. She's become my everything in the short amount of time I've had her and I look forward to atleast another 13 years with her. [:

They are the absolute best pet for anyone to have, especially a newly married couple who can't have children, like my husband and I. <3

I have owned a Chiweenie for alittle over a year now. Her name is Prudence and i love her to death. We got her at almost a month old and since day one she has been nothing less then amazing. She will not sleep unless its on a lap or under the covers with someone. At first i was nervous that the chihuahua in her would be a problem for having company, but everyone that walks through the door is greeted with licks and pure joy.
