Cisco was our only Doberghan that was gold, the color of his mother, Star. He had the curliest tail of all the pups, even curlier than an Afghan. The end of Cisco's tail resembled a pig. When he wagged it could pop out and hit you really hard to so we always had to watch out for Cisco's tail when he was really happy. Cisk was all boy, he loved the outdoors and loved chasing anything from opossums to cats and rats. He had a great hound bark and he and his brothers made a great chorus. He loved to stand on his hind legs and give a hug. Unlike his brothers, Cisco had problems with his teeth in older years along with chronic ear infections, lympomas, cataracts and arthritis. Cisco lived to be 16 years old and 2 month. He was a very healthy dog until age 14. Never having any illnesses prior to age 14. He really could plainly say I love you when you said it to him. When he was about 4, he and his brother Peanut became lost after Hurricane Ivan. Luckily we found them where a kind neighbor caught them to keep them out of the road. The pads of their feet were rubbed raw.
